In Literacy we have read interesting books about famous landmarks in the UK. We made models of landmarks like Big Ben, Stonehenge, Hadrian’s Wall, and the Giant Causeway in Northern Ireland. We observed landmarks in our own area and drew maps of what we saw. We made a cardboard city with landmarks like bridges, skyscrapers and rivers. We also worked together to construct a large scale model of Big Ben!

In Maths, we have been learning all about the numbers 1 through 3. We have been learning to sort, match and compare objects that show 1, 2 and 3 using maths resources like Numicon, ten frames, counting beads, dice and multi-link cubes.

PSED has focused on our Dreams and Goals. We talked about what we could do individually and as a team to get better at the challenges and new skills we were learning each day and set personal challenges that we wanted to get better at by the end of the term.

In PE, we have been developing our catching and throwing skills and played lots of games to improve our gross motor skills.
