Magical Me in Nursery

The children have had a great start to the new year and are settling well into Nursery.  

This term our topic is a ‘Magical Me’.

We have talked about our expectations and school rules which help to keep us happy, safe and ready to learn. We read The Colour Monster by Anna Llenas and talked about emotions and how important it is to use our words to explain how we are feeling.  

We have been learning about our families and their surroundings. We have talked about how we are all different and special in our own way and that is Ok and should be celebrated and respected.

In the world around us, we have been observing the changing seasons from Summer to Autumn by exploring the changing colours of leaves. We have read Leaf Man and We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt and made our own Leaf Men with leaves we gathered on our leaf hunt.
