21 January 2021

Firstly, happy new year! This has certainly been a strange start to 2021! I have been so impressed with how well so many of you have adapted to home learning! I have really enjoyed our daily Zoom conversations and seeing all of the fabulous work you have produced at home. Please keep sending it to me!

In Maths, we have been practicing our arithmetic and we have studied statistics. This means we have learnt lots of new things about finding the average and interpreting pie charts.

In writing, we have been writing non-chronological reports about Tornadoes and Volcanoes, which is linked to the research we have carried out in our geography unit – Extreme Earth.

We have also used some of our creative learning skills whilst at home. We are studying Andy Warhol and have been practising and developing our own portrait artwork.

In PSHE we also used our art skills to create these Kindness Clouds about a loved one or ourselves. Thanks for the idea Inside Out!
