We have tea-stained our writing sheets to make them look old and burnt as if they were from the Great Fire of London. We have planned our writing and have been trying to think of interesting vocabulary to include. One of our favourites was from Shyon who wrote: “the raging fire is devouring the colossal city of London.”
In Maths, we have been learning all about money. We have looked at the different value of coins and notes and have found different ways to make amounts of money. We have made this Christmassy by adding up amounts of money on Christmas trees.
We have all been excited and full of Christmas cheer singing loud for all to hear. We have been opening a stocking each day and the teachers even gave us a present which was new playground equipment. It’s so much fun! We have used our 2D shapes to create a Christmas card for someone special and we loved all the glue and glitter!
