This term, we have continued our learning of The Gingerbread Man. The children have designed and built various models to get the Gingerbread Man across the river safely. These have included bridges, boats and cars to drive over the bridge.
We have also designed different shaped salt dough biscuits to disguise the Gingerbread Man from the sly fox.
For Christmas, we have been learning Christmas songs, like 'Five Mince Pies in the Baker’s Shop', 'Jingle Bells', 'Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer' and 'When Santa Got Stuck Up the Chimney'. The children used various types of instruments to add to their singing.
We used mark-making to write our names on baubles to decorate our class window. Also, we used our fine motor and Maths skills to make paper chains for our Christmas tree.
