17 January 2020
From 15-17th January, Year 4 attended their third residential visit to Ufton Court. The children enjoyed taking part in a range of activities including tending the animals on the farm, playing torch games after a night walk and making paracord bracelets. They worked together to achieve, through team building exercises, like getting across the lava without falling in and supporting one another on the low ropes course.
Throughout the visit, the children helped to prepare their own meals and to keep the cabins organised. They showed fantastic responsibility for themselves and the environment around them. It was wonderful to be able to spend a few days in such a beautiful location and benefit from a lovely, large, safe space to play. The Ufton and Ranikhet staff hope the children are able to apply all of this friendship, empathy, tenacity, well-being and self-esteem learning to their wider school and home lives.
