1 March 2019

This month has been a busy one. We have looked at Once Upon a Time stories and learnt the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. The children had lots of fun writing sentences about the story.

We have introduced ‘Super Writer’ awards. The girls are awarded super writer awards by wearing a tiara for the whole day at school including lunch times. The boys wear capes and masks to show what super writers they are. In addition they have their work and photo displayed on the Super Writer board!

We have been celebrating children resolving conflicts all by themselves, parents watch out for those ‘I can solve problem stickers’.

The day we returned to school the aliens had invaded our classroom and made such a mess over the holidays. We have been writing letters to tell them that they need to behave in our classroom!

Children have also produced beautiful drawings of various plants as part of our new topic - Growing and Change.

A busy start to the term in Reception
